This clinic is geared towards riders new to mountain biking and those transitioning from other cycling activities. Learn the fundamental skills of mountain bike riding, including basic body positions, bike-body separation, bike handling techniques and anticipating trail features. Develop you skills and build confidence while negotiating common trail features like rocks and roots.

This clinic is designed for riders who are looking to take their skills to the next level. Build upon your strengths while learning the skills needed to navigate more challenging terrain throughout Catamount’s diverse trail network.

This progressive clinic series will build up on the skills taught each week. Participants will be introduced to the fundamental skills of mountain biking, including basic body positions, bike-body separation, bike handling techniques and anticipating trail features. Develop your skills and watch your confidence grow each week as you ride progressively more difficult trails.

This progressive clinic series is geared towards the rider looking to take their skills to the next level. Each week, build upon your strengths and learn the skills to challenge yourself on increasingly more difficult terrain throughout Catamount’s diverse trail network.

Women-Only 1/2 Day Introduction to Mountain Biking Skills Clinic
This session is designed to provide solid foundation skills, including body mechanics, bike handling, braking, shifting, negotiating trail obstacles and features and balance. Our goal is to give you the building blocks to a solid foundation on your bike or to provide an early season refresher to help restore comfort and confidence on the trails. This camp is intended for novice riders.

Custom MTB Lessons
Our instructors are available to teach custom lessons based around your availability and individual goals. Lessons are a great way to maximize your time with an instructor as you focus on your needs as a rider. All lessons are scheduled for a minimum of 2 hours and require advanced reservations.
