TRAIL RUNNING FOR FITNESS
AGES 10-15

This half day camp (8:00-12:00) will provide an opportunity for 10-15 year olds who are interested in improving their physical fitness through a lifetime sport.

Trail running will be introduced in a non-intimidating format that will help inspire athletes to do their best. Perfect for those who are interested in starting a fitness program or getting in shape for their fall sport.

Below is a sample schedule of a typical day, along with a listing of skills that will be covered, and on/off bike activities that campers may experience. Each registered participant will receive email correspondence two weeks prior to the event with a detailed daily schedule and a list of “what to bring.”

Note to parents: This is a parent cooperative camp. You are lucky enough to join us for two out of five days of fun! (We will do a registration of those days when we get close to our camp session) You are also “in charge” of leading a parent-led activity during one time slot to build community and pride.

Mountain Biking Skills Covered:

This camp is an introduction to mountain biking taught with an eye for the future of the sport. Timely instruction to move the rider forward with their skills, being mindful of age and abilities.
