TRAIL RUNNING FOR COMPETITION
AGES 13-17

This half day camp (8:00–12:00) will provide a service to 13-17 year olds who wish to begin competitive trail running or for those who with to have more of a competitive edge.

Training tips, techniques and drills will help create a well-rounded runner. Guest speakers and special topics.

Below is a sample schedule of a typical day, along with a listing of skills that will be covered, and on/off bike activities that campers may experience. Each registered participant will receive email correspondence two weeks prior to the event with a detailed daily schedule and a list of “what to bring.”

Note to parents: This is a parent cooperative camp. You are lucky enough to join us for two out of five days of fun! (We will do a registration of those days when we get close to our camp session) You are also “in charge” of leading a parent-led activity during one time slot to build community and pride.

Mountain Biking Skills Covered:

This camp is an introduction to mountain biking taught with an eye for the future of the sport. Timely instruction to move the rider forward with their skills, being mindful of age and abilities.
